CAPA's Goals

  • Promote the responsible use of Airsoft in Canada.
  • Promote etiquette, fair play and good sportsmanship within the Airsoft community.
  • Create a cohesive coast to coast society to join all Airsoft players, fields, clubs and retailers under one umbrella of voice.
  • Promote a suggested Code of Conduct for Airsoft players in Canada.
  • Provide and Promote Curriculum to train younger and new Airsofters on safety, responsibility, and etiquette pertaining to Airsoft.
  • Promote policies at the federal level to help entrench Airsoft in Canada as a legal and recognized recreational activity in Canada.

CAPA's Commitment

Provide curriculum, resources, feedback, suggestions to community.

CAPA's Structure

  • An interim board of volunteers and directors to help develop the society's charter, programs and documents
  • Airsofters across Canada will be allowed to register (at no cost) as CAPA members.
  • Once completed and election of registered members will nominate and vote on a board of directors to contain the following:
    • President
    • Vice-President
    • Treasurer
    • Provincial Liaisons
    • Regional Liaisons
    • Club/Field Liaisons

Programs and Documents to be created

Registered members, fields and clubs will have full access to all CAPA curriculum and documentation

    • Intro to Airsoft program - Safety, Sportsmanship, Social Responsibility and Etiquette on and off the field
    • Code of Conduct - General Airsoft Etiquette
    • Suggested Rules of Play - A generalized set of rules that a new field or club can use as a starting point to help develop their own.
    • Game and Mission Suggestions
    • Young Airsofters Program - A youth program designed to help create interest and mold new and younger players into responsible future airsofters.

CAPA's Online Presence (www.canadianairsofter.ca)

Forum - Since AirsoftCanada.com has a great user forum and community CAPA will only have a limited forum for access only by board of directors and registered CAPA members.  This will not be a social forum, and will be focused only on direct CAPA issues and agenda's.

Calendar/Directory - A full cross country calendar of events and directory of sanctioned CAPA registered fields, clubs and events, making it easy to find Airsoft in a community near you.

Library - Documentation and Curriculum to all developed CAPA programs.  Accessible by registered members only.

News and Events - Current news and political issues relating to Airsoft in Canada.

Member registration - Allows all ages of airsofters to register as CAPA members.

Club/Field registration - Allows Airsoft clubs and fields across Canada to register.  This will allow access to the Calendar/Directory to post events at their location.

CAPA's Political Agenda

Once running and receiving some resemblance of support from the Canadian Airsoft community, it is CAPA's goal to help persuade local, regional, and federal government to create policies to help entrench Airsoft as a legal and recognized recreational activity in Canada.
